The business
Fly107Prep helps people prepare for the FAA Part 107 exam — the certification required to fly drones commercially in the United States. The audience ranges from hobbyists going pro to established operators who need the credential, so the site had to speak to beginners without talking down to experienced pilots.
The challenge
Certification study is intimidating. The site needed to communicate credibility quickly, explain what the exam involves, and make it easy to start studying — all while presenting study tools in a way that felt organized rather than overwhelming.
The approach
- Strategy & page architecture — a clear structure that moves a visitor from "what is Part 107?" to "I'm ready to start."
- Conversion flow — obvious next steps and calls to action on every key page.
- Custom study tooling — interactive study elements built to fit the material, not a generic template block.
- Responsive design — a study experience that works on the phone people actually study on.
- SEO structure — on-page and technical SEO built in so the content is discoverable.
What was built
A full custom website with a purpose-built study experience, clear certification information, and a conversion-focused layout that guides visitors toward getting started — designed, written and developed end to end.
