Managed website service

How the managed model works.

In plain language: what your monthly subscription covers, what happens if you cancel, and how ownership and transfers work. No fine-print surprises.

What you get while subscribed

You receive full use of the completed website while your monthly subscription is active. The subscription covers managed hosting, security, maintenance and your package's included allowance of update requests.

What happens if you cancel

  • You can cancel any time by emailing us.
  • Your managed website stays live through the end of the current paid billing period.
  • After that period, the managed website goes offline.
  • Domain handling depends on how the domain was registered and managed.

Ownership & files

NeptuneLaunch retains the website files, source code and design assets unless a separate written transfer agreement has been made. While subscribed, you have a license to use the site. This is the standard managed-service model — the value is that we handle everything, not that you receive the raw code.

Transfers & buyouts

Interested in transferring or buying out your website? Contact us before cancelling to discuss availability, scope and any third-party licensing restrictions. Transfers are handled with a separate written quote. We don't publish a fixed buyout price because it varies by project, third-party tooling and scope.

Domains & third-party services

Domain management runs through your active subscription. Standard registration/renewal fees may apply separately, and some "premium" domains cost significantly more — those costs are always shared with you before any purchase. Add-ons that connect third-party platforms (email marketing, booking, payments) may have their own ongoing fees, policies and limitations under those providers' terms.

The short version: the subscription keeps a professional website live and maintained for you. If you stop, the managed site comes down at the end of the paid period. Want to keep it? Just talk to us first — we'll sort out a written transfer. Full details are in the Terms of Service.
